ABOUT LEAMINGTON AESTHETICS
Dr Rishi Agrawal, MBBS BSc
Hello! Welcome to Leamington Aesthetics!
My name is Rishi and I currently work as a part-time doctor within the NHS, specialising in histopathology with a subspecialist interest in dermatopathology which is the study of disease affecting the skin. I offer anti-wrinkle injections during my off days, which is currently on Fridays and the weekends.
My interest in aesthetics started during a dermatology rotation at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, USA, which was an eye-opening experience. Here I witnessed how aesthetics is a vital dimension in the holisitic care of an individual. Since then I have gone on to hone my skills in safe and accurate neurotoxin injection to prevent and combat the signs of ageing.
In terms of my medical career, I have published numerous papers on dermatological topics within medical journals, including the British Journal of Dermatology, and presented at the national and international level. I qualified with distinctions from Imperial College London School of Medicine.
Due to my current NHS commitments, I only provide treatments on Fridays and the weekends. However you can call or leave a message at any time.
BOTOX is a prescription-only medicine. If you require this service, there will first be a consultation where I will discuss whether treatment with BOTOX is right for you.

Advantages of Using a Doctor
Using a doctor for anti-ageing ('botox') injections offers several advantages over getting the treatment from a non-medical practitioner. Here are some key advantages:
-
Medical Expertise: Your skin is your largest and most visible organ. Doctors have undergone extensive medical training and have a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy, physiology, and the underlying structures of the skin. This knowledge allows them to accurately assess your needs, identify any potential risks or complications, and provide appropriate treatment.
-
Safety and Risk Management: 'Botox' injections, while generally safe, carry potential risks and side effects if not administered properly. Doctors are experienced in managing complications and adverse reactions that may arise during or after the procedure. They have the knowledge to minimize potential risks, follow strict hygiene protocols and handle emergency situations competently.
-
Customised Treatment Plans: Doctors take a holistic approach to your aesthetic goals and overall health. They will consider your medical history, current medications, allergies, and specific concerns before recommending any treatment. They can design a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, ensuring optimal results and minimising the risk of unwanted effects.
-
Precise Injection Technique: Doctors have extensive experience with injectible procedures and possess a deep understanding of the facial muscles and their interaction. They can precisely administer 'Botox' injections to target specific areas, achieving the desired aesthetic outcome while minimising the risk of complications or an unnatural frozen appearance.
-
Follow-up Care: Doctors can provide comprehensive follow-up care to monitor your progress following botox injections, address any concerns and make adjustments to the treatment if necessary. They can also offer advice on post-treatment care, such as avoiding certain activities or medications that may affect the results.
It's important to note that 'Botox' is a prescription only medication. These injections are a medical procedure and while non-medical professionals may offer the injections at a lower cost, it's important to note that they may not have the same level of training, experience or expertise as a doctor.
It's always advisable to seek treatment from a licensed medical professional for 'Botox' injections.
I am a mobile practitioner, so all appointments will be held in the comfort of your own home.
